Got a Romainian Tok from Military Gun Supply. Took it to the range yesterday, no serious shooting for
accuracy just off-hand shooting but it seems dang accurate. The 7.62x25 is a pretty hot little round, kinda surprised me
how it barks.

A buddy has one and he loves the gun and the round.
I believe Chuck has one too. Maybe he'll come along and tell us about it.

Who ME? Yes I have one. I like it as a plinker. Mine is in bad need of a disconnector right now. I'm waiting till I need a few more parts before I make E-Gunparts happy.

It is a good shooter, and a very good round.

These are great pistols.  Below is my 1949 Russian Tula Arsenal, no imports, no safety.  Probably a Korean or Vietnam battlefield pick up.  I found it in Alaska in the mid 80s.

The 7.62x25 is a very powerful round.  It was developed from the 7.63mm Mauser and was primarily a submachinegun round.  In terms of penetration and impact, it is far superior to the 9x19mm.  A Tokarev round will go clean thru a steel pot, but a 9mm Luger will only dent it.  The design of the weapon is very simple and along the lines of Browning autos but with even simpler machining and basic features.

Before the ammo became common, I used to make reloadable brass out of .223 Rem cut down, necked in Tokarev dies and reamed with a .30 cal collet then trimmed to length.  I would load 100 gr. .30 cal plinkers with 4.0 gr. of 700X behind them to match performance.  Fed great and would also fire out of my Broomhandle Bolo in 7.63 Mauser.  Steve

I prefer the ones without that big and ugly safety (like mine has) that they had to add to get them past customs. Yet another gun related injustice committed by our .gov.

I was using mine as my pest (armadillos, skunks, etc) dispatcher till the disconnector started giving me problems. Its one of the few calibers left that you can still find relatively cheap milsurp ammo to shoot.

I too had a Norinco 213 in 9mm Luger before I sold it to a friend who needed a pistol and was on a budget.
