I just got a UTG foreend with rails for an AMD AK. I took the covers off to mount the laser but the damn rail covers won't go back on if at all.
Is there some trick to reinstalling them? |

I suppose this is a joke I'm missing, but just in case you put them on by hooking one side and mashing the middle until they flatten out enough so that the other side pops on. OP |

No, it's not a joke. It's a Chinese made product, if you hook one side then apply pressure to the other side, it collapses before it snaps on.
The only other thing I know to do is heat them in water, then try to snap them on. The covers are either too rigid in the center or to rigid on the sides or both. |
