and it was Goddamned good,

fried up approx 8lbs of crappie, 8lbs of sandbass and 5lbs of saugye fillets coated in a simple dry mix of 5cups cornmeal, 3cups white flour with black pepper, salt and cayanne pepper to taste, with black eyed peas, potato salad and a couple of bottles of coke on the side.

didn't even think of taking pics, but hell ya'll know what fried fish, blackeyes and potato salad look like.

I've got two bags of crappie in the freezer that I was trying to talk my wife into fixing today.
I guess I'll have to do it.
We use to bring back bags and bags of trout from NM but we quit going after I started having all the knee replacements and chest crackings.
Man, that trout is so good....
I wish you had taken pictures, Brother L.
If I had some to show my wife, she might fix 'em up.
I already got the corn meal and other goodies mixed up.
Oh, use mustard, egg, and milk for the dip. The mustard, especially a hot type, makes it taste all that much better.
Plus it takes the fishy smell out of cooking.
