Can a brother get a tack around here? I'll go first, with Sopapia Cheesecake. Ingredients: 1-8oz. packages cream cheese (softened) 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 tsp vanilla 2 cans crescent rolls 1 stick REAL butter (melted) (I used parkay) 1 tsp cinnamon (ground) (I used 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon sugar) Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla with mixer until smooth. Spray bottom of 9x13 pan. Put one can of crescent rolls on bottom of pan (just roll the can out, it will fit the bottom perfectly!). Spread cream cheese mixture over crescent rolls. Put other can of crescent rolls over mixture. Melt one stick real butter. Add 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon to butter and stir well. Pour over top of crescent rolls and spread. Bake uncovered 25-30 minutes. Enjoy! Great served cold, but unbelievable served warm with vanilla ice cream. Yum! |

1lb bacon fried crispy, then crumbled; 1 jalapeno pepper minced fine (seeds removed); 1/4 cup onion chopped fine; 1 1/2 cups shredded chedder and/or montery jack cheese; 4 cups self rising flour; 1 1/2 to 3 12oz bottles of regular bud or miller beer. pre heat oven to 400deg; combine all ingredient together, just add enough beer so all flour is mixed well and batter is loose, not soupy, then pour into a greased baking or loaf pan and bake for approx 40 to 50 minutes until crust is browned. this bread dough works pretty damn well for camp style cooking too, it makes good skilet bread as is or even biscuit dough with a little less beer added for cooking in dutch oven. |
[gasps in astonishment]You don't cook?!?![gasps in astonishment] What good are you then? :p I think me cooking is the only reason Household 6 married me. |
