[ARCHIVED THREAD] - New Springfield !!

Well, I got my new Springfield yesterday

FedEx left it on my front porch

Anyway, it is NICE !!!, and shoots great, I went out in the back yard and put 25 rounds through it, using the factory mags, and not one malfuction.

everytime I see a optioned out 1911, makes me think of buying a higher grade shooter than the one I've got.

Nice! I have the exact model as you and I have had zero problems with it. I have fed it wwb, blazer brass and some friends reloaded hollow points with no problems. Good choice!

I cant make up my mind on the grips, I don't know what I want

Also, not a lot of holsters out there for a 4" 1911 with a rail, there are a few, but not a great selection.

I guess I will have to go custom, if I want leather.

VZ double diamond micarta stocks look and feel nice too. A nice set of cocobolo double diamonds from Kim Ahrends is always a favorite.
