OK here is the question of the day.....
How in the hell do you get rid of red wasps???????
I feel like my home is in the center of the nest..
I swear everyone in got tagged by one last year..
All I know when they hit ya... a shocking feeling
goes all over me.. and OMG they hurt..  and I know
they fly back to the others laughing... scoping out
which one of us is next... SO... I NEED SOME KIND
OF WASP KILLER.. PLEASE....
(besides a fly swatter)

nuke them or kill them with fire

but in all reality like the guy above said just pick up some wasp/hornet killer spray stuff at any local store. Make sure you hit them pretty hard with the first spray because they go crazy after that first spray

Get some of these.

Go up in the attic and put the first one as far from the attic ladder as you can get, put another 1, or 2 closer to the attic and get the hell out.

I used to do this 2x per year in Spring and Fall when I had a wood shingle roof that wasps could easily get through.

Just be sure to follow the instructions about turning off any appliances in the attic that could cause a spark and an explosion.

If you kill the queens now, there won't be any nests in your attic and it also gets rid of a lot of other bugs in your attic.

i have a nest in my well house that i should have taken care of this winter, but i'm stupid. since i know where they are, i'm praying for a really cold night so i can take down the side wall and remove them.

i'm very allergic to these bastards. just the red ones for some freakin' reason...

they must be commies.

my suggestion is to use the foggers/sprays earlier suggested or nuke from orbit.

badmitten (sp?) racket and a can of that industrial strength bug spray the telephone guys carry called "9MM",

seen a telephone dude hit a pit bull in the face with that stuff and the dog did the stop, drop and roll routine for about 5 minutes, so I'm pretty sure it'll drop wasp just as good.

First off they sleep at night so wait until then when the hive is all home and asleep. Bout 2-3 am would be prime. Secondlt you can fog em or spray the nest but if they are inside cover some will live. I suggest the fogging.
