Today I drove past Gallairdia and Rose Creek, two high end golf courses not too far from my home. Seeing all those guys out there wearing $250 kangaroo golf shoes, swinging golf clubs that cost $150 to $200 each, driving about in $10,000 golf carts, with green fees that are incredibly high, just pissed me off no end. I look at those golf courses and know that it is a great waste of pasture. Including all the damn money people pay for country clubs, etc. And it all centers around them swinging golf clubs!!!!!!! Why can't they do something productive? Like climb a tree with a rifle and try to snipe a deer!!!!!! |
Why....because getting balls (or contents there of) into a hole is man's prime objective of life!!

I don't care if they spend their money on golf equipment and private courses. The same thing could be said for shooting and ranges after all. But I do make sure to encourage golfers with a timely 'shave and a haircut' on the horn when I pass by an active course. |
No I'm not. Today I got to thinking about golfers while I was hanging onto the tree while it swayed.. They probably wouldn't be playing golf in 30 mph winds. If they did, they'd be chasing balls everywhere. What a bunch of maroons. |

I've golfed on a windy day, driving is just like shooting targets with a gun, gotta adjust for windage, the sport that makes me laugh when I think about it is nascar, a bunch of hickory nuts driving fast and making a bunch of left hand turns all afternoon long, nhra is a much better racing enjoyment. |
I worked with a lot of folks from North Carolina. Hickory nuts is right!!!!!! They were ate up with NASCAR. |
