hey, have any of ya'll got any experience with these rifles? I seen one today for $250, and was just wondering if they're just a savage 110 series pre-accu trigger model dressed as a stevens, thats what it appeared to be at least, and if that's all it is, can/will the savage barrels work on them? because I'm thinking cheap action, midwayusa hvy barrel for a c-note and then I'd be set for a while. |
| yep ya hit the bullseye,its a pre-accu-trigger savage,(i prefer a nonaccutrigger)with a POS stock,savage accessorys fit,I think they are a great buy,buy a good barrel and go,I used to shoot witha guy who did a 338EDGE build off a stevens 200,last I heard he did a 338lapua build. |

the shop had several in the rack, didn't really get a chance to eyeball and finger the one I looked at as much as I wanted, figure to go back in a couple of weeks and take a good look at them and if they've got a 223 and 308 I'll buy both, and since it's a pawn shop thats got them, I might even be able to hagle a better deal.
