I'm going to try and go after Bambi with a stick and string this year and am looking for somewhere to shoot in NW OKC and get everything tuned back up. I shot regularly in my yard in Norman but the new house doesn't lend itsself to it. |

See if you can find a range that has a area set aside for archery. If you need to, you can shoot out at the range at Lexington. There is a plce here in the Ada area that has a good range set up. It covers about 10 acres and the targets are set at differant distances through out the woods with shooting stations, you shoot form high, low through brush etc. IIRC his name is Wheelers. He is a autherized PSE dealer as well and really knows his stuff about bows. He will be getting busy this time of year. |

check king's pawn on N. sunnlylane and I thing 23rd, I was up there a few weeks back and seen them shooting arrows along side the building into a back stop, from the looks of the shop, they sell and set up bows. hell for that matter, if your garage has a door to the back yard, or a gate into the back yard, set up a back stop in back and either open the gate or garage door(s) and shoot from your front yard to the back, a family I know in town practices like this, it's allows for approx 25 to 30 yards shots. |

Maybe you can open the sliding patio door and shoot from the living room or den into the backyard. Or open a bedroom window and shoot thru it. |
there was a public range in SW OKC at onetime. call the city parks. |
