ACman, do you have one?
I'm looking for some one that has variables such as humidity and temp to figure into velocity and drop.
Which is the best one to get?
Thanks!

I have Sierra I5 Dan.  Send me a PM with what you want and I'll plug it in and copy paste what it comes back with.  I have a sinus and an ear infection though so I might not be johnny on the spot.

Josh, I got that Burris in after 5 months and mounted it on this Savage. It's a hell of a scope - better than my Leupolds - as far as clarity anyway.

Changing the stock changed my best load on the rifle. It's not grouping like I want so it's back to getting a good load worked up. JH has my chronograph and I'm going to get it back.
But I do want to predict where my loads go at 600 yds before I actually shoot them. I'm probably going to do 4 to 5 loads at 100 and 300. Work out the best at 100, 300, then on to the 600 with all of the loads. I need the program to 'play" it out before I load 'em up.
Do you like that Sierra program? Are there any better programs?
Thanks!

I might do that. You won't need it for awhile...you're gonna be busy pulling your computer out of your ass!

hey Dan, heres a link that will get you by, its got altitude, temp and some other stuff in addition to having BCs of most popular bullets,

www.eskimo.com/~jbm/calculations/traj_basic/traj_basic.html

as long as you got the FPS, it'll get you real close.

i spent the night shooting and most of the morning.......
anyway all the disks i gave 1shott with the siera program has a bc computer and both the rifle and pistol manuals on it......

icant remember if it has bp temp and stuff on it but i think it does...... i know it has wind it has quiet a few other bullets on it too besides just siera's..... i'm pretty sure you can enter the balistic coef. of the bullet your using too..... i haven't messed with it that much i just get a general guide..... then shoot the rifle in the field and record it........

Sierra is ok but not the best.  If you get a chrono send me what your FPS are and the bullet you are using and I can run it if you are not using that one in the link above.
