I've got a half acre pond, approximately 15 ft deep, my son is going stock this week end. We're planning on using 100 blue gill, 100 channel cat, 50 black bass, and 10 lbs of minnows.
The pond is fairly clear - we dumped a lot of hay in it a few months ago to clear up the red clay. He's telling me to get some concrete blocks, stick in some tubing in the voids and fill with concrete to make structure in the pond bottom.
Anybody got any suggestions or advice?

Dave, sure did! Apps have to be in by 1st June and I didn't have enough water in the pond to apply. July came and filled the pond in one afternoon! From 40% to water flowing in the runoff, with the rain coming in ONE day. OK weather is feast or famine!
