OK I have three extra seats in a Cessna. I don't want to fly down by myself. I can leave whenever and return anytime. I may have to resort to bringing the GF, but I don't know how much fun she will have with a 100 drunk guys. So pony up and lets go

I'm leaving out of OU airport and if you live along the way I can land and get you as long as it's not too far off track

I can not make the trip either.  My in-laws are coming into town this weekend.  And as much as I would like to have a getaway plane, I don't think the idea will fly.

You do realize that he's not leaving out until Saturday morning, don't you? You should be fully recovered from your anal probe by then and ready to go.

A 172 is a little small when you consider how much shit most people want to take to these shoots. However, oubeta is a conscientious pilot and has already planned for his weight limit.

That is where I was coming from.  172 is a good plane, nice, simple, slow...  From where I am at, Colorado with a field elevation of 5000,' there is a reason we call the Cutlass a Cessna Gutless.  Still, have a fun time, and don't fly too fast.  

Seriously though, you need to get your flying club to get a Bonanza, or mabe an ol' Travelair.  200mph baby!

Fortunately, the elevation where he's taking off is about 1200 feet above sea level. Crowell may be even less than that. He had an Aero Commander lined up, but not enough people expressed interest.

we will be flying a 172 with a 180hp mod. It will carry four guys and no baggage or three with bags.
RIght now I only have one taker so I need one more and we can take all the crap we need. I was going to take a turbo commander, but I don't know if crowell will handle it. It is also expensive to operate. I would need at least 4 guys to pile in before I could afford to take it.
