Does anybody out therehave a Kahr/AutoOrdinance Sub Gun??  I have a Kahr/AutoOrd. in layaway, but down here in Houston I've seen a few problems.

Now I'm NOT talkin' about a full auto, and NOT AutoOrd. before Kahr bought them.  The problems I've seen are jamming/feeding problems.  A gunsmith here in Houston told me to get ready for this.

Their not mil-spec and their stamped metal.  So my question is, should I keep this gun along with the 50 round, round drum,OR take it out of layaway and get something else.

Thanks for the advice!!!

How much for the sub-gun and would it be worth it to take it to a gunsmith for a little tweak.

Might check the Texas hometown, unless the State of Texas got bigger without me knowing about it.

Coz_45 is an FFL and  Ithink he owns a semi-thompson.

Try asking your questions at www.machinegunbooks.com or maybe tommygunner. Those guys know a whole crap load about Thompsons new and old. There are some guys out there that can convert your new Thompson to use the old military mags, and they work much better!

Here's the situation.  My wife put the gun and the round magazine in layaway at Outdoor America, in OKC.

RedGoat, I know COZ45(Randy) and his JAMS ALOT.  That's part of the reason I'm asking if I should go ahead with this gun or switch before I get it out of layaway.

Outdoor America has a HECK of a time getting Bushmaster 223's & OA has a limited selection on tacticle rifles.  So,I'm thinkin' hhmmmmmmmmm, this 45 or maybe a pistol and a knife, or maybe two pistols, or maybe.............you get the point.

Bottom line.  Do ANY of you guys(&gals) suggest this heavy rifle or get something else.

Thanks, Dave

Dave you have already answered your own question. Don't you hate a smart ass.
I cosidered buying one myself untill doing a little research IMHO for the price they should run 100% with the price tag they have. That is not the case from what I read on them.

As an owner of 3 Thompson's, unless your into Thompson's already you might want to rethink it.....  Thompsonitas is an evil thing to contract.  "I" couldn't and  wouldn't be without one now....  They are a kick in the ass to shoot....  If you start saving a grand a month right now, in few years you can own a full auto one....  It will be a beater but still a TommyGun.....
