Really thinking about getting a Salvo, however I need to get my barrels threaded (870 and 1100).  Anybody know a good cheap place to get it done?  I know those two words should not be used in the same sentence.  Thanks for the help.

I would be interested in this as well. Doesn't have to be cheap but want it done correctly.

I know you don't what to hear - you get what you pay for....

Check with Carlson's.  I have had several fixed choke acquisitions threaded by them at very reasonable prices.

You'll need to mic the barrels to know if they are thick enough to allow them to be threaded.

I've sent the barrels out by UPS and gotten them back in a week or so.

They're thick enough...trust me.  Yes I know you get what you pay for and I have no problem paying...I just want a good job done at a fair price.

Rose action sports..............Amazing quality, reasonable rates and super fast turn-around.........Had a 28 inch 1187 Remington barrel cut down and re-threaded to 21 inches..........looks factory!!!

I trust you know they are thick enough, but they'll usually ask you for the measurement before taking the barrels.  As you well know, "they walk among us" and are not always as savvy as the rest of us.

That was a version of the rhetorical, smart ass comment.....  Carlson's has gotten my repeat biz - good work, good price, quick turn around IMHO.

Use anti-seize or face removal problems in the long run.
