My daughter had one, she is an adult and hasn't done the hunter safety class yet. The two year mark has passed for the initial one. Big question, can she obtain another (2nd) Apprentice License? DGIF is closed today. She dragged her feet on the class and was hoping to get her into the woods for a hunt while on college break.

She could take the hunter safety course on line - I believe and that would take care of that Was reading and the requirement is the online then a class in person. Hope she can do the apprentice and hunt w/me again. Still not sure if she can get a second Apprentice.I could be wrong on the in person part though? I thought there were two choices - one on-line plus a one day class but for those over 18 years old you can take just an on-line class and no in person class is required http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/hunting/education/ but I could be wrong looks like you are right there, I sent her the link. Thanks a bunch! |
