I don't know if I've ever seen any Spikes stuff at a gun show...
Most of what I ever see is some no name out of spec crap that they're trying to pass off as name brand! Gun show goon: "That there is a Rock River upper with a 1/7 twist Chrome lined barrel." Me: "Well why doesn't the upper have the laser engraved Rock River symbol and the barrel is marked 1/9 for the twist..." Gun show goon: "Well uh, those uppers are older before they started doing that and those barrels came from a batch that were mis-marked. I promise it's 1/7" Me: (walking away as fast as possible) In all fairness there are some guys that only carry name brand kit and they're great guys. Just don't think I've seen any spikes stuff. |

| well, I searched everywhere locally for my Spikes stuff, but it was nowhere to be found! I was referred to Sherwoods Guns, in KY to possibly find a upper and lower from Spikes Tactical about a week ago. They ended up having the exact upper and lower I was looking for IN STOCK, along with some other stuff that the owner and his wife, Sherwood and Dee, upsold me on (thanks Sherwood...now I'm broke!!) Great family owned business and a pleasure to do business with! |
