| Have any of you all been there? I took a nephew there to play airsoft and people really get up for that game. We were the only ones out there not dressed in head to toe battle gear. These kids looked like they were being deployed with their boots, helmets, plate carrier vests and there tricked out BB guns. These guys make nutnfancy look plain. |

Alot of the gear and weapons they use cost just as much as the real thing. I dunno, I play with my kids and their friends, it's fun. Yea this twelve yr old kid was saying how he has about 600 into a gun which costs 400. I can't imagine putting 1000 bucks into a toy. I'm not a safety Sally but I would also feel weird with my kids playing with BB guns that are basically replicas of what I actually have and run the risk of them getting mixed up somehow. As expensive as paintball is, I would much rather them play that |

That's one of the things that's kept me from doing anything with it. I figure, if I'm going to be spending that sort of $$, I'm going to get the real thing, not something that's a confused merger between a BB-gun and toy. Having an airsoft version of my go-to would be nice to train with, but for that much $$.... I'll just buy the reloading supplies, crank out some rounds, and just shoot the real thing. |
i bought one of the sticky zombie targets, a H&K pistol, 5000 bbs, and a 40ct box of CO2 to just mess around with in the house since we lost our shooting spot. to bad when one bb hits another they shatter. i didnt know that at first so there is bb chips all over my target now.
