| This organization has been getting pushed mostly by the NRA and recently they've been pushed by Colonial Shooting Academy on the Facebooks. What's their deal? To me, VCDL is a dominant force in VA politics and something that we should all get behind. VCDL is a 100% no compromise force to be reckoned with in the state legislature and Senate. What purpose does VSSA serve other than to dilute our message? Is there any reason to support them? |

my opinion....
VCDL doesn't kiss NRA ass! the VCDL isn't a source of revenue for the NRA... VSSA funnels money to NRA corporate... one more way to get into your pocket  .
VSSA is the official state association of the National Rifle Association
my view on the NRA is almost the same as the DMV or the county tax office: "yeah, i have to pay you your money but i don't like it and would drop kick you if given half a chance." VCDL on the other hand; not only am i glad to pay the yearly membership but i take steps to get others involved. at the shop we actually put a VCDL pamphlet in the box with every new gun! (that reminds me... we need to get more). |
