Hello All,
I just joined the site and I am having a hard time figuring out how I can subscribe to threads. I do not see the subscribe icon on all the threads. Is it something in my settings? Thanks |

Welcome to the site!  Yes there are multiple levels as has been pointed out. There are also a few things you need to learn about the place. The first and most important rule: Stay out of General Discussion unless you can put of the lunacy and have thick skin. Second: Be sure to read the rules and remember that the "tech forums" are not GD. Third: Try to take the good info from the site, and weed out the bad that can float around here. Lastly, try to enjoy yourself.  |
I already ran into you in another thread. But I'll say "hey" again. 
This is a very smart site full of a bunch of people that will reach out to offer their advice. Really, there is a lot of depth and substance here. The General Discussion segment of this forum does play by it's own rules, like noted above. Some poeple are just here for the crazy antics of that forum, some have no interest in that but love the tech forums. I'm split. Welcome aboard! |

The search feature is the entire reason I keep my membership. I have been a paying member off and on since 2005, but when they restricted the search feature for unpaid memberships, I have kept it up yearly.
The Site Staff are great guys and I like supporting the website, but I'll be blunt, them limiting the search feature is what did me in. |
| Thanks for the info and the welcome. I look forward to learning as much as I can about the AR platform and slowly upgrading my new rifle to my wants and needs. Unfortunately for me right now is a horrible time to try and find some parts in order to fine tune. I'll just have to wait for the craziness to end. I have to send my 2 week old rifle back to Stag to have them fix it before I can shoot it again anyways so I have some time on my hands. |
