So while researching for hog hunting opportunities in the Culpeper area, I noticed an old thread referencing the subject.

What ever came of it?  Anyone find a spot to hog hunt?  I'd love to take the bow out and bust a few for the freezer.  I came up with a few numbers that I am going to cold call tomorrow and see what I can put together.  I can't imagine any farmers having an issue with getting rid of them, but it'd be nice to have a contact.

Any HTF guys want to try and find a spot?

There were some escaped hogs from a couple of hog raising operations.

Culpepper had a big push to kill them off and.I haven't heard anything lately.  I deer hunt very close to one of the areas where hogs were, have never seen one and neither have the hunt club guys next door.

I don't think there is a population of hogs around culpepper that can easily be hunted.

Probably going to Texas next year to kill some hogs.

They have plenty.

The best and cheapest places to hog hunt are GA.  If your military call around to the military bases.  They usually have some hog infestation that they are getting rid of.  I am going down there towards the end of the year since the chiggers, gnats, and mosquitoes are horrible right now.
