I would like to try a 3 gun match but I'm not sure anybody within a couple hours drive of Charleston holds matches. I shoot in the occasional USPSA match at the PCGC in Eleanor which is fun but I think 3 gun would be killer. Anybody in the area shoot 3 gun? Willing to travel a little farther just to give it a try.

I shoot multi gun at Pickaway County Sportsmen Inc. It's 2.5 hours from Hurricane, WV at Circleville, OH. There is a match this Sunday, 6/5. Several Kanawha Valley shooters go there fairly often. This is a very good club and they put on quite a show. They usually get 50+ shooters at the multi gun matches.

The club's website is: pcsirange.com

Hey guys... if I wanted to host a 3-gun or multi-gun at PCGC, you guys help? I'm a NEWB at this, so need lots.

Could be a regular thing if we schedule it right to blend wiuth other clubs and matches.

We WILL do a zombie shoot in October... need help for planning that too.

Let me know whatcha think!

You may not realize what you are getting yourself into. You really ought to watch/participate in a couple of matches before you go down this road. There is 3 gun match this weekend at Rayner's Range, Blue Rock, OH and a match the following weekend at PCSI in Circleville, OH. I plan to shoot in both. You are welcome follow me and my pals to either match.

I shot in a "multi gun" match last weekend in Wilmington, OH. Nice range run by nice, well intentioned, people. They were pretty inexperienced and the match just barely turned out OK. The scoring was a cluster fuck and the RO assigned to our squad couldn't keep it straight. They couldn't seem to decide if it was a high power, bullseye or USPSA/IDPA match. In the end it turned out to be a mediocre mix of all of the above.

Shoot me a PM on the WVCDL board and we'll see.
