Guys,
I am trying to get into the gun show this weekend one more time, and if I am not gonna get in like last time, then I am heading to Nova Armament. they are the closest gunshop for Expo center, right?
|
|
yes on closest.
and very good on customer service. next nearest is prolly Loudoun Guns with so so CS followed by VA Arms in Manassas also with excellent customer service I have spent money at Nova and VA with total satisfaction, I walk away from LG based on high prices, but I wouldn't completely avoid them if looking for something specific they carry. I have heard LG carry ammo by the case but i have not asked. Prices should be reasonable this show. expect crowds and baby strollers. |

They were shoveling the money in hand over fist today.Friday is the only somewhat sane day to go unless you get there early,1 to 2 hrs.If you plan on buying ammo in quanity bring a hand cart, everyone else does, unless you have strong and simple friends.I make several trips to the vehicle cause I just won't carry it around.
Sunday morning around 8 to 8:30 gets you in the front rows with a 10:00 open time, all h starts 12 to 12:30 for the late risers and church goers. With the upcoming 1 or more inches of rain coming the ground is already saturated and the clay mud holes are there now,so I would try for a good paved spot. Hope this helps someone out this weekend, enjoy the show. |

va arms has earned my business thats the best part of going! i bet its real bad now. Customers came in and told me pretty much the whole town of front royal is flooded LOL. Guess buying the house on the top of a mountain paid off. Ive been watching people drive through the water and fuck their shit up all day long, its pretty funny. A fire truck went by earlier towing a boat. |
I got there at 1200 and parking was a ZOO!!! First off, who put that damn ramp there??? I drove right by it and had to loop around on 50 to get back on 29! And I see the nearby stores have hired private security to secure their parking lots! Hahahahaha...bastards!I lucked out and someone pulled out just as I drove up. Got right in too but HOLY JESUS it was crowded! Thanks to whoever recommended the Glock guy in the back for installing the night sights! Trijicon sights and quick installation for $95. I saw a brand new Mossberg 590 12ga 9-shot, ghost ring sight shotgun at SSG Tactical for $445 but I was with my nephew and didn't want to lug it around for several hours so I thought I could pick it up before I left...guess again! Gone and no others in stock. I looked around for another one and finally found one at another table for $545...dammit! Still, my nephew loved the show and all the folks were very cool letting him finger fuck their gear...this fun show is VERY kid friendly...so it was worth the trip! |
