Anyone in here with an FFL? I am trying to get one in virginia. I have the application in front of me. It shows three copies one to the ATF, one to the CLEO and one for the applicant(me). Who gets the CLEO copy? Are there anything else I should consider? Just looking for some helpful info. Thanks

CLEO for any county in VA is the Sheriff......Suggest you call his office and confirm....if you were talking about the Fed District (for courts) you are in..(either Eastern VA or Western VA) it would be the the US Marshal. Shrps74

If you're in an incorporated city or town it would be the Chief of Police.  Otherwise, send it to the county Sheriff.
