Does Virginia Beach have some requirement for having the City notarize it that I'm not aware of (I'm not in VA Beach)? I just went to a notary public - my credit union provides the service for free.

Bank of America has notary public services for their account holders.  Just did this today for my CHP application at the BoA near the Virginia Beach Circuit Court on Fordham.

Yeah, I meant they will do it for free.  I went in today and it took about 2 minutes.

Yea but as someone said they will do it for free for account holders.

I've had the manager at my local suntrust(my bank) notarize a few things for me in the past. Haven't done it in a while because I do it work for a few law firms. Had to get some certified true copies of my trust to send off so I just called one of the legal aids and asked if she had time. Ran off the copies and stamped them for me.

i have never had a Notary Public charge me. had it done at a bank, the county office, and by our secretary at work. guess it depends on where you are and who is doing it.
