Hey guys quick question. My grandpa down in Texas just told me hes going to give me his FN mauser, a gun hes had since the 50's. Im going down there in June and hope to bring the gun back. Whats the best way, ive thought of a few options
1. travel down with empty hard case and bring gun back on the plane with me. 2. while in TX go to UPS and ship it back to myself in VA( ive been told this is legal) 3. have him take it to UPS/FEDEX etc. and have it sent to an FFL up here(i live in loudoun/fauquier county line area). Any suggestions on which is best, cheapest and/or safest for the gun. thanks. |

'Giving' does not get around the transfer rules. |
