Was in Staunton Wally World Yesterday and while they had .22 LR Federal Value Packs, the price had risen to $18.97 for 550. That's like a $3.00 price increase.

Not much of a value any more.

Some of you may have already known this.

Danny

ETA: 550 rounds not 50.

My WalMart went from stocking the Federal 9mm @ 9.47/50 to some other brand for 16.97/50.

Staunton Wally World had both yesterday and the Federal was still $9.47 for 50.

The Madison Heights WW, only had rifle centerfire and shotgun shells yesterday morning.

This shit is getting old.

I am mostly looking for .45 as I am dangerously low.  I am down to my last few cases and shooting season has just started.

Best wishes on finding the .45, scarce as hen's teeth round here.

The Wal-Mart in Stafford (Rt 610) has been out of the bulk packs for some time.  I was in the store this morning and they had them back in stock also at $18.97.  I bit the bullet and bought two more since I picked up a 15-22 and a Sig 522.

Hell, we'll have to buy some 22LR dies if this keep up.

Even at $18.75 , .22lr is still the best deal around - Delta is $.006

$18.75/500 = $.0375, $15.75/500 = $.0316, vs 9mm at $16.75/50 = $.335.  GA 9mm FMJ @$125/500 = $.25   That's almost a 10 to 1 price differential.
