So, after much freezing my ass off and swearing, I've determined that the drive belt for my alternator has been misplaced. Luckily, I have a replacement belt. Unluckily, I don't have the necessary tools or knowledge to properly install it. I'm also unemployed and can't afford to take my car in to a regular mechanic. I can, however, offer a 6 pack of Sam Adams (or similar) and a pizza (or some chinese, or fast food, or a second 6 pack of beer, whatever) to anyone that has the skills, tools, and time to help out.
Some important info: 1990 Nissan Pathfinder, VG30E V6. The other two drive belts have to be removed in order to install the belt for the alternator, and then they need to be replaced afterwards. Vehicle is currently parked in Vienna. My best friend has agreed to help get my ass to job interviews in the meantime, so I'm not in too much of a rush. Can fit into pretty much any schedule. |
