My daughter is a junior in high school and has chosen the topic "Gun Control" for her term / research paper. Obviously she is pro-gun and needs lots of crediblemcitable material. I really appreciate any sources especially VCDL and NRA sources. Thank you. R/ Mike |

Interesting. When I was a junior in high school (5 years ago...yikes!  ) I did a thing on gun control, basically showing that the "ballistic fingerprinting" crap does nothing to stop or solve crimes. Since the brady bunch pushed that subject after the beltway shootings (which was close to home) it was very relevant. Even though my teacher at the time (for that class) was from NJ he gave hints that he was pro-gun. If nothing else, he knew his stuff as he always used proper terminology and knew (correct) facts about various firearms. After I finished my presentation I got a few positive questions from come classmates, like age requirements, etc.

I have a paper that I wrote on gun control for college a few years ago, I could e-mail it to you if you'd like, just as an example to look at... I think I got an A even though my teacher was a big time liberal (which is what made me pick gun control as a subject  )
