| Just out of curiosity , are there alot of members here from Hanover? If so, anyone interested in a organizing a shoot? |
|
Quoted:
Is anyone a member at Black Creek that would be willing to talk with the owners about a group shoot? I asked this before when they were trying to figure out a central va shoot. I'm a member but would prefer if another member or 2 went with me to talk to KC about it. Figure if a few of us asked him we would have a better chance of getting him to say yes as a few of us are needed to babysit. |

This will be my first and only year as a member of that club. KC thinks if you fire more than 4 rounds in 10 seconds that you are firing "rapid fire" and has a cow. I know, his place, his rules. And my money will not support it after this year. |

I've done some fast shooting with a rifle as well. Generally speaking the club seems to be for older shooters most are doing more shooting for accuracy. I will say pretty much everyone I've delt with up there has been very friendly. |
| I would be all for blackcreek, seeing how it isn't to far out of the way. I did a tour of the range a couple years back and it seemed like a nice set up. I don't know KC but i would definetly come along to talk to him. How would a haloween shoot sound to you guys/gals? |

Everyone I have met there has been very friendly and eager to talk guns, etc. |

I confirmed this morning that there will be a mini Appleseed shoot on Nov. 15 at Black Creek. If you're interested, bring a shooting mat, eye & ear protection, and a web sling if you have one.
Appleseed shoots provide some insight on Revolutionary war history, along with marksmanship training for shooting from standing, sitting, and prone positions. The shoot is free, just show up at Black Creek at 12:00 noon - the shoot begins at 1:00. If you're interested, let me know and I'll pass on a count to the coordinator. Additional Appleseed info is located here - [URL=http://www.appleseedinfo.org/[/URL] Dave |
