| Going to Pungo this Saturday! Anyone want to meet up let me know |
| Can you tell me what happened at Pungo? I had a membership there that expired about two years ago. At the time it was $65.00 to become a member, renewla was about $48.00. I called 6 months ago to ask if renewal price was still the same. They said they don't have memberships. That range access was about $300.00 a year, ball park. I don't remember the exact number. Did they change ownership or something? It was a decent range for the money I paid. Now I can't justify that much for something I'll only get to use a few times a year. I just can't afford numerous range trips between gas prices to get there and ammo prices. I'm not whinning about it. Just wish I could afford it again. |

Camaroman, It is well worth the drive out there (to C2) to spend some time shooting. The only thing better than the facilities are the courteous, professional "ole timey" folks that work there. I felt really at home there. I can't wait to get out there and shoot some steel. Hell, if I could find a Barbershop with a similar "feel" I Even if we don't all get memberships, let's all try to support a local business who is still open there for us when we want to shoot. FWIW, I remember that sign over the urinal......LOL R/ Mike VA Beach |
AGREE!!! Does Wade still work there on the weekends? |
Been good. Besides paying rent and a mortgage (my VA townhouse is for sale), I'm happy to be back in my home state www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhaQtW7icCY But if you see Wade out there, tell him I (Dave, the guy that always shot suppressed)said hello. If I ever make it back up, I'll definitely be up for some shooting. |
