I've done some research and I can't seem to come up with a answer on this one.  I pick my wife up daily from the Franconia Springfield station.  I usually pull up to the kiss and ride and stay in my car while I wait for her.  Is having a firearm in the car legal?  I also sometimes ride the rail and assuming I stay in VA is CCW with a permit legal?

Yea your fine, just make sure you don't end up in DC or Maryland.  But then again, concealed means concealed, so it shouldn't matter if you catch my drift.

unless its posted at every entrance with a sign that says "no firearms" then it should be legal.

Oh and as long as your in your car is doesnt matter as long as you have a permit.

The metro isn't a school zone, so staying in your car has nothing to do with anything.

Unless something has changed, you are subject to the laws of whatever state you are in.

Just make sure you get off before you leave VA.
