Does anyone in the VAHTF do much four wheeling? Looking to start meeting up with folks for rides, maybe even test the waters to organize one.

Also, where are your favorite places to go wheeling? Virginia seems tough to find public 4x4 trails, I've heard there's some decent ones in Amherst. So, let's hear your favorite spots, if they're available for others to wheel.

Any other 4x4 talk welcome!

Well, I've been to Peter's Mill in the GWNF. Went with a group called OCC: Off Camber Crawlers. It's a NoVa group.

I have an '01 Wrangler w/ 2" spring lift, BFG AT's 31x10.5x15, and the rest is stock.

Where in Va are you?

I found a webpage of a guy named Roscoe who rides with them, and saw a bunch of good photos of there and another place in the NF. I've heard there's some decent trails in Amherst... I'm down near Farmville, so anything near Lynchburg or Roanoke is very convenient, but me and some buddies are also looking for weekend trips too, so that opens up most of the state.

I have an '80 CJ7 with 4" lift and 33" Super Swampers. Next week a set of D30/D44 w/ 4.10's out of an 86 CJ are going under it, and my Warn 8274 is getting mounted. Can't wait!
