Been awhile since I've gotten online...  Anyone know the total on the PVC votes yet?  I know there has been at least one...

I would be interested in knowing also.  Anyone know how we can find out and possibly by precinct?  Maybe we should start a poll on this site for members to chime in and compare the numbers.  It wouldn't be scientific but might give us an idea if everyone's vote was counted once.  On the other hand, there is no way to tell how many people voted FOR Kaine and AGAINST Kilgore so their vote wouldn't be wasted on PVC.  Maybe that was their protest vote.  At any rate, Kilgore did not get elected.  Post election reports seem like that is a good thing.  I'm in for PVC, Lee Center precinct.

one of the sites listed had the amount of write ins per district. Im sure you can assume some of them are for PVC.

Thanks, I had a teacher who told me never to assume anything as it just makes an  er, uh, lets just say '1 word out of 3'.  I can ass u me the government counted correctly and doesn't lie to me also, but I don't.  Some could have written in 'none of the above' or 'Mickey Mouse'.

According to the news babe at the Washington Times, because PVC wasn't an "official" write-in candidate, its very difficult to find out the actual total.  I had assumed (there it is again) somebody would have put in the appropriate requests.  I think it would be prudent to also find out who the write-ins were for Lt. Gov because there were so many more write-ins for that office than there were for Gov.  I suspect a good number of those votes were incorrectly recorded on election day or a good number of folks did so inadvertantly.
