Somebody posted this at Sigforum.com and I think its a great idea. If the VCDL were to make and sell cards with this basic message, I'd buy them and hand them out to anti-gun businesses. Personally, I wouldn't hand out this exact card, because there are some punctuation, grammar and factual errors. Here is a good start on things though...

Ya know, I think I'd take some of those, too. If it got only one merchant to think instead of going with the herd, that'd be OK with me. I'm sure that plenty would PooPoo the idea, and/or say that it would "tag" you as a gun toter, but if a merchant got enough of something like this to at least get his attention..... Most people have NO idea that it's legal to carry concealed, or what is involved. Most people believe that anyone who is not law enforcement that carries a gun is crazy, a white supremacist/Michigan militia, or a criminal. Most people believe that a sign will stop a determined bad guy. Most people believe that the Mall Ninjas will protect them (ignoring the fact that the strongest thing they're armed with is harsh language). Most people believe that the police have an obligation to protect the individual. Correct the gramatical errors and put some of the NRA/FBIs statistical data on firearms ownership and personal protection and I'd be in for some. Tom
