NoVaGator and I will be meeting up to shoot at around 6pm, anyone else interested?

Let me know....I will also be bringing the new 458 SOCOM upper to see how it shoots and to zero the EOTech.

Anyone know if you set up a crono there?

I'm guessing that there is enough light, but placement may be tricky.

I would definately give them a call on this one. It seems you couldn't since you can't fire from that far behind the line, and there is no cease fire to go forward of the line, but maybe they make specail accomadations or something, I'd like to chrono some of my reloads.

I've seen chronos there for staff members (I think they were curators from the museum, based upon the stuff they were shooting)

They're less-than friendly there, so I wouldn't hold my breath.

You should be able to set up for a MV reading just over the red firing line, but I would call beforehand.

I'll be there.  My FAL para will not be back by then but I have a new toy to try out.  I found a nice little Springfield Armory Champion lightweight a few weeks ago and Wednesday will be the first shooting.

Just wait until after our group build of the FALs is done!  Then we'll have some fun at the ol' range :D

My crono question may be moot. I can't find that little bugger.

Uuuuugh, I need to live in one plave for more than a year.

I am in.

I am in, but may have a tough time shooting the SOCOM.  My neck is stiff from sleeping on it wrong for the third day now.

I will be bringing the Kimber to test and also the USP45F for NoVaGator.

I will have the 458 SOCOM with me, just might not be able to shoot it.

Remember they won't let you fire both of them while rolling down the line on a dining cart, like John Woo in a Cow Yun Fat film

Damn... I forgot about that pesky rule.  I'll have to limit myself to jumping off the shooting table with the guns canted at 90 degrees.  They still have the mats to land on right?

I won't be able to make it.
My wife works until 7 tonight.
But have fun!

So who can host the .mpgs?

Had a great time! Best Wed shootfest yet IMO!

My sholder is still sore. I'm gonna have to get more powder and load up some of those 500gn bullets.

ANGST - I really liked that AR180. That was sweet. Wish I got a chance to try it. I didn't try the Beo cause my shoulder was already sore and I know that I wouldn't be able to tell the dif between the .50 and the .458 through all the pain.

Cheers!

And a fun time was had by all.......

Any of you be interested in a weekend trip to the DNR range (Sleepy Creek) in WV sometime, its maybe a 75-90min drive from the NRAHQ. Public , up to 200 yards, and shooting waterjugs and stuff is OK.

I'm going this afternoon.  I'll be there between 5:30 and 6:00.  I'll be easy to spot.  I'll be the only guy there with a pre-ban, folding stock FAL.  I just got it back from the smith after having a new barrel installed and I need to function test it.
