No, because they don`t see the renewal. They only see the copy of your original application, but unless you live in Cook County. I live in Kendall County my CLEO is Sheriff Baird he is pro-gun.

I just dropped of a copy of C+R renewal at the station yesterday. The CLEO was not there (he never is), so I gave it to an on duty policeman and told him what to do. I don't think he knew what it was and I told him to give to the Chief. I've never talked to the Chief or the BATF+E.
