kid wast to go to a concert there next july--

--decent venue?
-- safe area?
--hotels nearby?
food/fun around there?

-would be coming from st paul, so a "best route" would be helpful

I don't agree that she should go--she wants to spend $500 for a single meet/greet with whatever person---by herself.  The rest of us don't want to go to concert
I don't want to drive 500 miles for this.

Can't imagine a concert I'd drive 500 miles for...or spend $500 on a ticket, but that's me

I know people that live in Tinley and my impression is it's a safe area with plenty of amenities, but I'm not that familiar only having been there a couple of times so I'll leave that discussion to others.

I think driving should be interstate all the way, just  depends on whatever road construction is going on next year.

I-94E to I-90E to I-355S to I-80E.

Just a close hotel sampling from Trip Advisor

I live in Tinley Park. It's a great area overall.
Nice venue
Lots of hotels nearby. You could walk if need be.
Lots of good food and other stuff to do.

Considered taking the train?
Which concert?

Venue and area and fine.  For concerts there is a heavy police presence.  Tell her to be careful with the drinking.  The police are on a look out for duis after shows.
