I was looking to do a day charter fishing trip with the guys this summer. Can anyone offer a recommendation of a good service?

I think there's a charter association that fishes out of North Point Harbor in Zion/Winthrop Harbor which is right on the Illinois/Wisconsin border. There are numerous very good charters available in that group. Captain Dan Keating is one of them and is well known as one of the best on the lake.

My buddy, Capt Bob on Battalion1 out of Waukegan Harbor. I use to work with him, I've chartered with him and I've fished the same waters with him. He always catches more than me.
