| I live outside of Chicago. I know I can't be the only one in my area that would like to have a friends of the NRA dinner. I have no idea how to organize something like this. I would love to give it a try and make it a yearly thing in the Cook Dupage and surrounding counties. What do you think. |
Talk to Mike Huber at [email protected], he's the northern Illinois field rep. I've been to a few of the cook county friends of the NRA dinners in the past. They usually do one in Vernon hills and another in Arlington Heights. I went to one on my 21st birthday and ended up winning 3 guns in the raffles.

| I have emailed Mike. He said there is one in Aurora and one in Elmhurst that is not listed on the events list yet. I also heard there is one in Arlington Heights. When I find out more about these 3 I will post updates. I am interested in the Arlington Heights and Elmhurst, Aurora has not been kind to me. I just want to meet like minded people and make some friends. I have lived here for almost 10 years and only have 2 friend one is my wife and a guy from work that I built a rifle for and he is now a shooter. He loved it so much he wants one for his dad. But 1 friend in 10 years isn't that bad. |
