| A guy from stl wants to buy my glock 21 but i am over here across the river. do I just go to the ffl dealer in mo and let them deal with it and transfer or just wait till we move back. |

Quoted:
You can handle it either way. An interstate transfer should be handled through a FFL. If you are a Missouri resident, state law applicable to a transfer would apply. we are moving back to missouri at the end of the month if not sooner so i think that may be the safest way to handle it. |

I believe that is the way I would handle it. Two people involved in a transaction is almost always better than three. Too many cooks spoil the broth............ |

If you need to transfer it before you move, don't even bother with an Illinois FFL. Either ship to or bring it to the buyer's FFL in Missouri, transfer it to that FFL who can then transfer it to the buyer. |
