Is anyones keychain car lock not working properly after the winter.
I dont know if it was because it was so cold or what, but a few of my family and friends say theirs stopped working somtime this winter.
Mine was working fine till winter then a few times wouldnt work then it was 50/50 and slowly dwindled down to it just doesnt work anymore.

Anyone else seem have this problem?

Don't have a remote start, but my car stereo is acting goofy.  Pioneer AVS head unit, and it's not responding to steering wheel controls on the radio when it's hot in the cab.  When it's cool, everything is fine.  Now, the USB/DVD/AUX responds no matter what the inside temp.  Really odd.

Depending on where you are at there are some dod installations that have changed the frequencies that their radio repeaters are on and they are near or on the same frequency the remote works on. The companies that make the remotes have been sharing the frequencies as secondary users for years and knew that this could happen.

The key fob for my Jeep was acting up late this winter. One day it would work and the next it might not. I put a new battery in the fob and it didn't help. It turned out that the battery in the Jeep was getting weak. I put a new battery in and the problem was solved. I think this harsh cold weather last winter took a toll on it.
