Not surprising that she won.
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/02/27/robin-kelly-wins-primary-to-replace-jesse-jackson-jr-in-gun-proxy-battle.html It is crappy that Bloomberg poured so much money to help influence the decision. She says that the days of the NRA power are coming to a close. ok .......... I do not understand why anti-2nd amendment goobers think that if the NRA disappears gun violence will cease to exist. That is equivalent to saying if every nation got rid of their army there would be no war. Sorry to burst their bubble but you can't get rid of the tool used to conduct certain action and expect those actions to stop. I honestly have a hard time believing that they actual think this. I do not know how any intelligent person can honestly think this.

Odd how Soros and Bloomers can buy elections, but when some rich guy supports an (R) the Occupy crowd lights up with "corporate ownership of the electoral process"
An interesting aspect is the coalition of black pastors that came out against her - or more precisely, Bloomers buying the election. Hey guys (and gals) - welcome to our world! |

I am unsurprised. Halvorson had no chance, with or without that fuckwit's money. This, plus the district she was running in. No...exactly BECAUSE of the district she was running in. The same people that voted for JJJ DID NOT vote for Halvsrson....
