| Anyone else notice over the last month or so, a pair, or sometimes three chinooks flying patterns across dupage and cook counties? I sort of enjoy hearing and seeing them around, but it definitely makes me wonder where they came from, and what they're up to. I have been seeing them almost everyday over the last two weeks. The first time I saw them was NATO weekend, but they're still here. Just wondering if I'm the only one. |

They aren't Chinooks. They are Sea Knights. They are from HMX-1, the presidential fleet. They stage out at Dupage when the great one comes to town. They started using Dupage instead of ORD a couple of years ago. AF1 still lands at ORD, but the rest of the fleet works out of Dupage. Mike F
