| Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone here lives in DuPage county and call tell me if we are able to order ammo online. I have heard some people say yes, and others say that there are local laws against it. Has anyone in DuPage ordered from the internet? If you have, did you have any troubles with the shipping? I have ordered lots of pistol and rifle ammo online and have never had any problems. I ordered from one of the companies that is popular on this site. The policy was to fax them a copy of my D.L. and FOID. I placed my order and got the ammo before I had faxed them the info!!

I remember hearing that Attorney General Madigan was going after ammo companies and their Illinois companies for sales taxes. I think it was all show, though.
I have ordered through sportsmans guide, and gone to Cabelas in Hoffman Estates. The bottom line is that you have to know your prices, any where you shop. Cabelas had .45 on sale a while back and after calculating shipping vs tax, it was cheaper to buy from Cabellas (at that time). |
