Beloved Leader has decided that every jeweler, pawn shop, and "cash for gold" store in Illinois that buys gold and silver off the street needs an approved scale. The scales start at $300 and aren't anything special (ie. some Chicago commie owns a scale company). Then because that isn't stupid enough a certification sticker must be purchased from Weights and Balances, another $125.
The whole issue is made even more rediculous when you consider we can't buy gold at market value any more than can sell it at market value. The numbers on the scale mean nothing. If I'm going to rip someone off buying gold I'm just going to offer less money for it. Thanks Quinn, I haven't taken home my first paycheck from my company and I owe you ANOTHER $425. Glad you're looking out for small businesses. |
Remember - this from the same folks who are certain that criminals with felony records will be the ones getting CCP's (despite the thorough background check), and the extra guns carried by law abiding gun owners as a result of CCW would somehow result in more shootings over drugs and gang turf by those same criminals who are already prohibited from possessing guns and are using them in the commission of felonies.
