Keep putting them up in the yard, but they keep getting destroyed, and stolen. Had to put one up in my window. Expect now to get my house egged.

Sounds like the mentality and maturity of typical Obama supporters.

Well, so many of them have prior felony convictions, what's a little property damage or election interference for the Obamessiah - even though they can't actually vote for him?

I didn't buy anything other than a McCain cap this year, I just donated the rest directly to the campaign.  Why?  IL is solid for the Dems and my yard sign/bumper sticker is not going to sway any/enough voters to change that.  McCain/we shouldn't waste any resources in IL.

Your vote doesn't count in IL.

Now if you live in FL....

Honestly, does anyone think that McCain will get any electoral votes in the election?  Like him or not, Obama, being from Illinois, probably secured the state...but thats no reason to not vote.

Just my 2 cents.

I work in Dekalb.  If you drive down taylor street between 1st and Annie Glidden there is a house with huge marine, American, and pow flags.  On the south side of the road.  The guy has  plenty of political signs as well, including a McCain sign.  I noticed an Obama sign show up in the yard the other week.  This week, the signs are in a different spot probably bec he mowed his lawn, but still the Obama sign.  Have you noticed this as well?

ETA- I wonder if college libtards keep putting one in his yard, and he gave up removing it.

He should paint a big NO on the Hussein sign;  I started calling him Hussein just to piss people off.

Unless, of course, they registered through ACORN.

I ordered two of the mccain/palin signs.

Came home tonight gone, even the metal rods.    Looked around and no republican signs in visual range.

I gotta make some calls tomorrow. Tell the local republicans to go sign crazy in my yard.

Don't forget all the unconsciously racist voters in IL.

"...Democrats are nervous wrecks; they're having nightmares that defeat will be snatched from the jaws of victory. To add to their misery (and guard against complacency), here's how that horror film could play out:

In the end, the problem was the LIVs. That's short for "low-information voters," the three fifths of the electorate that show up once every four years to vote for president but mostly hate politics. These are the 75 million folks who didn't vote in the primaries. They don't read newsmagazines or newspapers, don't watch any cable news and don't cast their ballots early. Their allegiance to a candidate is as easily shed as a T shirt. Several million moved to Obama through September and October; they'd heard he handled himself well in the debates. Then, in the last week, the LIVs swung back to the default choice: John McCain. Some had good reasons other than the color of Obama's skin to desert him; many more did not. In October, a study by the Associated Press estimated that Obama's race would cost him 6 percent. The percentage was smaller, but still enough to give the presidency to McCain..."

Something to consider - some subdivisions have covenants that may not allow any signs in the yard other than a "for sale" sign.

In general you may have a point.

For me, I'm not part of an HOA. And besides only republican signs gone?

My parents house in Naperville has the only McCain sign up on their block. There are no fewer than 2 Obama signs on houses across the street. Naperville used to be such a conservative area.

I'm in the city just to the north, more Dimocrat signs out in my area too. After last presidential election lost all my signs to vandals. I've started taking my signs in at night.[>:/]

I drive around ALL of Illinois north of Kankakee.

Honestly, I see just as many McCain signs as I do Obama....more obama stickers on vehicles, and more McCain signs infront of houses/businesses etc.

Its nice giving fellow McCain'ers the "nod".
