Thanks Nak, Yea, I tried both stocks while out at buffolo. The wire stock was not comfortable at all. The new stock was much better! It doesn't quite collapse all the way due to the tang on the end of the reciever. I'm going to contac CAA and find out if I can remove enough of the stock to let it slide in all the way. Reddog51, I got the rifle from Rguns. The only problem were a couple of misfeeds. Twice, I had a situation where the the round did not chamer all the way. I looked kinda like it was stuck 1/2 way in the mag. I simply pulled back the bolt, slowlly removed the mag, pull the round out of the mag, put the round back fully into the mag, put the mag back into the rifle and all was well. |
That's a priceless picture! Good lookin' gun Slarti and by the big fat grin on your face it looked like you enjoyed yourself. My wife, brother, sister-in-law and I shot about 250 rounds of pistol and about 200 rounds of .223 in our AR's this weekend. I set up a two gun shoot at my brothers' and we wore the same smiles on our faces too!! GOD bless!!!

The barrel is chrome lined...and I'm thinking of painting the camo...or at least some type of desert brown color. There is a great thread in the Night Vision forum about how easy it is to see black guns with NOD goggles. Much hard to see when they are cammo of some type. |
