ok so now lets do a poll mothers day is out, the 17th looks bad so here are our choices to try and acomidate the most people |

only one official blastfest a year, anyother time is just a bunch of gun nuts going shooting if yoyu can't make it no big deal, you can always start your own. organize it and co ordinate the food if you don;t like the dates start your own thread and get a bunch of people to go. no big deal |

Oh man, you did GOOD. I just hung up from talking to her and she was able to change her days off--she's working on Mom's day and now has the 18th off. I came here to post that and beg (if necessary) for the 18th to be selected as the day. We'll see you then!!  Who all is committed to coming? I'll be watching this thread to find out as we haven't seen the Illinois bunch in a long time. If anyone wants a piece of me--bring it!!  ETA: Hell yes she still has the picks--she even named her BOB "Rick." To be serious for a moment her job is the pits right now. She's in a five woman dept. and as of yesterday she is IT. The remaining tailor/seamstress just quit yesterday. It's for this reason the mgr. was willing to accomodate this. Yippee!!!

My wifes brothers wife always asks to go shooting. She is x Coast Guard. She shoots with a camera now. Ought to be a pro. Great wildlife photos. Trigger happy on the click button. I'd be broke in 10 minutes. My ammo stash up in smoke. She must have a FA camera.  I can ask. Her husband is legally blind, he can stay at home.

Great--mine is coming for sure now. PLEASE encourage her to come, as the ladies always have a better time than the men. I'm going to try to get some ammo loaded up for the .50.  Edit:
If you possibly can, COME ANYWAY!! It's $40 (both) to get in, but you will not do without trigger time. Your wife will have a blast shooting things she's never shot before, and the BBQ is a load of fun.

We just spent nearly that eating at Red Lobster last night--just an hour long meal. It was good, but not nearly as good as spending a day shooting and eating BBQ with you guys! You coming? We are eating, right??

18th of this month right?? I ming be able to scrounge a few rounds for my 308 and my 40 in the meantime. Edit: if someone has a few rounds in those 2 calibers that I could buy off them for a reasonable price that would be great too, am itching to fire my savage 308 as it has not even had one chambered yet. |
