| Worked on preps today...... fired up the genny, fueled the cars and gas cans, checked the food stocks. I think im ready to "bug in" for awhile!!!!! How about you? |

Did all this crap the other day....ice storm fo-shizzled out! Where you guys located at? I mentioned the weather over the next two days to the wife and told her if she needs to run, do it early today....She responded,"I need to go to Kohls and Macy's...  I was like, woman....I would think you would at least hit the weather channel once in 8 hours of watching TV everyday.......

I'm up here in McHenry County near the Wisconsin border. It is getting pretty ugly. Schools are closed and I am working outside right now so I will be home. My wife has to go to work, I am worried about her driving. |
That would be a joke. If everything goes right, I will be drinking by noon. The little one decided I had enough sleep, so I am back at it. It is raining here, and it looks like ice is accumalating on the trees pretty good, and the temps are right around freezing. Loooks like it warms up to 33 today, so we could be in for a long one. |
Well, we lucked out here on the freezing rain! Just got a good bit of warm rain, instead. The power did go out over night, though. Fired up the genset until 7:30am when the power came back on, then headed out to the off-farm job. Road conditions are good here. Hope everyone is doing OK. Watch for falling ice! I got hit with a couple of chunks this morning!Now .... back to the website work.
