REPORT ON THE COOK COUNTY ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN By Richard A. Pearson On November 14th, 2006, the Cook County Board passed an amendment to the Cook County “Assault Weapons” ban. As you may recall, in July of 2006 this amendment was stopped, at that time, the Cook County Board tabled the amendment. On November 14th, 2006 the amendment was removed from the table and voted on. By bringing forth the amendment in this way, only a few insiders could have known that it was coming up and would be voted on. The push for this amendment was spearheaded by Larry Suffredin, a lobbyist for the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence, a local gun control organization with connections to national anti-gun organizations, including the Violence Policy Center and the Brady Campaign. I urge all gun owners to call their Cook County Commissioner and tell them you oppose this ordinance and you want it overturned. Below you will find a list of Cook County Commissioners and their phone numbers. Please call them today. Your County Board district is listed on your Voter’s Registration Card. It will never be overturned. People in the Chicago area are far too braiwashed. I am sick and damn tired of ISRA and their pacisifistic approach to saving our asses. I am sick of being told how to dress and speak by ISRA, they are clearly clueless. You get verbal with Legislators. You don't threaten them, you don't insult their race, but you drill them and you make them fear you as Legislators should. You wear your camo and you stop trying to convert yourselves to an image that we are not to appease the media and the nervous soccer moms and half men You REFUSE, REFUSE, REFUSE, REFUSE to obey this law. If EVERYONE REFUSED to pay attention to a law, it cannot be enforced. It will become a fiasco like alcohol prohibition or modern drug prohibition which does nothing but to keep law enforcement agencies employed. Legislating vice and gun bans like this are simply a profit and probable cause machine, just another way for the government and law enforcement to harrass you. REFUSE TO COMPLY. They have never complied in the ghetto. I don't live in Cook County and never would, it suprises me any of you would but it's time to stop being pushed around by hysterical soccer moms. I would never surrender one gun to the idiot Socialists that run this state. If any statewide ban passes, I DEMAND that Daley walk his fat drunken ass up my front yard with a little wagon to collect them all. Blago will have to stand on the sidewalk holding his wife's purse that contains his balls as I don't allow dog shit on my grass. RESIST. Jesus and the Forefathers have warned us. The time is so near and each of us know it. Side with riteousness, not evil. |

I spent a couple HOURS on the phone with Sims a few years back when they came up with the "Deadly Weapons Dealers Act". She's utterly clueless, has no interest in being educated and REALLY BELIEVES that laws like this will help HER PEOPLE and don't infringe on "gun collectors". At the risk of being called racist: Look at the names of the Comm's. Mostly inner city black and hispanic, and all willing and desperate to blame guns instead of their own kids for becoming bloodthisty thugs. It's ironic that they'll fight The Man every inch of the way, but they'll embrace The Big Lie of Gun Control from the stuck up whiteys from ICHV and East Coast Honkies at Brady. ckmorley |

how did this pass? take a look at the bill it was attached to---it had nothing to do with firearms, no one seen it coming---just the way they like it  we really did figure this was going to happen, it was just a matter of time. crook county is a dead issue when it comes to 2nd amd rights----the rest of the state will follow-----c'mon, lets hear from all you down state guys that say it will never happen as chicago goes, so goes the rest of the state. i have fought the good fight, joined the NRA, donated time and money to the cause, now, i throw in the towel--i will not give up my guns, but i will not spend every last dime i have to stay out of jail, if i am found in possesion of any of these items,--when there are states that actualy support the 2nd amd. i feel completely hopeless about this issue(mainly because i live in crook county) i have a friend who is a ffl dealer in cook, and this will pretty much wipe out his business.  sorry about the pissin and moanin------now bring it on  |
My Crook County commissar is William Beavers AKA "the Hog with the big nutz" as he proclaimed himself in the newspaper yesterday. He was a Chicago alderman for years, a suppossed ex cop, a thinly veiled black racist, a egotistical self lover and basically a big ASSHOLE that KEEPS getting elected. Anyone who has followed this guy in the news over the years will agree. Will he listen to me, hear me out when I go to see him (with my hat in my hands) or write to him explaining that I should be able to purchase, keep and own guns here in the city of Chicago? FUCK NO........there are not ENOUGH of "me" to convince him of anything.
